KB0093: Why don't imported list bullets show up?

Sometimes bullets are defined in the original document as symbols which are in a font (e.g. Wingdings) unlikely to exist on the device. Also, using a non-bitmap custom bullet symbol is not supported in most ebook readers. You could try adding a bullet image as a media document and then setting the name of the bullet in the list definition for the appropriate levels.

Say the bullet image is "media/bullet.gif" in your media document. Edit the list style definition (from the Formatting Palette or Project Properties/Styles). In the List Style tab, set the required list level, and click on Bitmap in the Bullet style control. In the Standard bullet name field, type media/bullet.gif.
