Sometimes you can get an error similar to the following when uploading your Epub file to iTunes:
ERROR ITMS-3000: "Line 534 column 29: element "data_file" incomplete; missing required element "checksum"
The error message is not very helpful, but here are some things to try that have helped people in the past:
Check that the metadata in your Jutoh project is identical to the data you submit separately to iTunes. In particular, check the ISBN number is in the same form.
Change the separately-uploaded cover image name to CoverDesign.jpg to match the name in the Epub file. Make it at least 1400 pixels wide.
Check that the name of the Epub file matches the title of the book.
