KB0129: Why are there spurious page breaks in my Epub?

See also: How can I stop sections starting on a new page?

If your book sections are very large, Adobe Digital Editions and probably other Epub readers will break the HTML file into pieces, causing page breaks at arbitrary places. It is recommended that you break your book into logical sections to avoid this and other potential problems.

If section size is not the problem, then look for page breaks within your document, indicated by dotted lines. Remove manual page breaks with Format | Insert | Page Break or by reimporting your project into Jutoh and specifying no page breaks.

Page breaks are always implied between sections, unless you use the configuration option Suppress section breaks: see KB 0224 for more on that.
