KB0185: Why did cut (Cmd+X) delete the document and not the selected content?

Sometimes the editor will lose the keyboard focus after a dialog has been shown, particularly on the Mac. If you then issue an editing command, such as Cmd+X to cut text, it may apply to the whole document and delete the document. To get the document back in this particular case, you can right-click (or control-click on Mac) over the project outline, and paste the document.

In general you can click on the editor before a command such as this, to be sure to set the keyboard focus to the editor.
