KB0387: Why is image width being ignored in LibreOffice (ODT) for some repeated images?

If there are many repeated images in your project (for example, chapter heading decorations), and the images have a percentage width, you may find that some of the images are the correct width, and then the images start ignoring the percentage width and expanding to the page width.

This would appear to be a bug in LibreOffice.

You may be able to fix it by checking Use specified image file names and ensuring that each image has the same name in its Name field. This avoids duplicated image files for the same graphic, and at the same time seems to improve LibreOffice sizing behaviour.
