KB0241: Why does Jutoh warn about a page break at the start of a document?

You may see messages like this if the reporting option is set to High:

TIP (Jutoh): page break found at the start of document XYZ.

Since a page break is implied by each document, this is unnecessary and can cause blank pages in your ebook.

To fix this, do one of these:

  1. In each document, go to the first paragraph and use Format | Insert | Page Break to toggle the page break off; or reapply a style without a page break.

  2. Reimport the project using File | Import | Reimport Project and check the Remove page breaks option.

  3. If the style, such as "Heading 1", contains a page break in its definition, edit the style and clear the page break option.

  4. Use the Find & Replace dialog to replace the style with one without the page break, e.g. replace "Heading 1 + Page Break" with "Heading 1".
