KB0252: How do I copy and paste images?

If you right-click (control-click on Mac) over an image and choose Copy, this will only copy the image itself, and not any properties you have applied to the image. To copy the image properties, copy the text fragment (or paragraph) containing the image. Although you can use the mouse to swipe across the image and select it, an easier way to do this is to click to the left of the image, and hold down shift while pressing the right-arrow key. Now press Ctrl+C to copy the fragment, and paste with Ctrl+V.

If you are having trouble doing this, it's possible that the image is floating left or right. You can temporarily switch floating image display off in Jutoh, via View | Preview Floating Objects. This will show the image at its actual location in the text.

If you want to replace an image from the clipboard, for example with an image of a different resolution, you can click on the image to show its properties, and use the Paste button. This will replace the image, while preserving any properties you have applied.
