It has been reported that when previewing your book on your iOS device (iPhone or iPad), you may notice a fading effect on the left and right side of the cover image.
This may be a sign that you didn't transfer your book correctly - you should not transfer the .mobi file by email or any other method but via iTunes using a USB cable.
