KB0435: How can I remove line breaks at the end of paragraphs?

To find and remove trailing line breaks at the end of paragraphs, use the Edit | Find and Replace command. Check Use regular expression and the in Find field, type:

In the Replace field, type:
~{empty}
Then click Replace or Replace All.

If you want to replace line breaks with paragraph breaks, you can use the menu command Format | Book | Formatting Cleanup and check Convert line breaks to paragraph breaks.
