KB0215: Jutoh warns about duplicate bookmarks, but I can't find them

See also: Why does Jutoh warn about duplicate identifiers?

If Jutoh warns about duplicate bookmarks, you can use the Inspector tab in the Formatting Palette to show all bookmarks, by selecting Bookmarks and if necessary changing the setting (via the "..." button) to search in all documents in the project.

When you double-click on a bookmark in the Inspector, you may find that nothing is selected and you can't see the bookmark. This may be because the paragraph is empty, but still contains a bookmark. To see the bookmark, insert a space in the empty paragraph. If there's a bookmark, and View | Text Highlighting is on, you should see a grey background. Click on the paragraph text to show the bookmark, and click Remove Bookmark if you want to delete it.

A paragraph can also have a hidden bookmark, as its Id advanced property. Right-click (control-click on Mac), choose Paragraph, and check the Advanced tab. Similarly, the identifier for a text fragment can be edited using the Character command. Tables, boxes and other objects might have their Id property set.
