KB0216: How can I see a list of just my favourite styles?

The Styles tab on the Formatting Palette lists all the available styles for you to apply to your content; but ones that you use frequently can keep scrolling out of sight, since the style selection reflects the current paragraph style. Then you have to keep searching through the whole style list to find the one you're interested in.

To speed things up, if you have a small number of styles that you want to keep applying, you can add them to the Favourites tab on the Formatting Palette - click the downward-pointing arrow to see a list of all tabs.

To see both the Styles and Favourites tabs simultaneously, drag the Favourites tab to the bottom of the Formatting Palette window (drag to an edge and drop after you see a faint blue rectangle appear).

Now add your favourite styles, such as headings, to Favourites by clicking Edit Favourites, searching for a style name, e.g. "heading", and for each one, clicking Edit and checking Favourite. You can also assign keyboard shortcuts for even quicker application of styles.

Note that favourite styles must be redone per project (or imported from a style sheet or project) since they're project-centric; other kinds of favourite are global and will apply to all projects.
