To remove (reset) list formatting, you can do one of the following:
Select the paragraph(s) with the list formatting - or put the cursor on a paragraph - and choose the menu command Format | Lists | Clear List Formatting.
Select the paragraph(s) with the list formatting - or put the cursor on a paragraph - and in the Tools tab of the Formatting Palette, toggle the formatting off with one of the list buttons. You may need to click twice.
Select the text, and click on Format | Lists | Bullets and Numbering. Check Remove list formatting and then click OK.
