KB0277: Why do unused automatic styles remain in the formatting palette?

You may see styles like this listed in the Styles stab of the Formatting Palette:

Heading 1 + Left Alignment

If you apply formatting such that the automatic style is no longer needed, the automatic style will not be removed immediately, in case it is needed by an Undo command. However, when the project or individual document is closed and reopened, Jutoh will purge any automatic styles that are no longer needed. The quickest way to remove unwanted (albeit harmless) automatic styles is to close the document tab and open the document again.
