KB0300: Why does Jutoh for Mac (64-bit) crash when viewing one chapter of my book?

Very rarely, there may be some corruption in your book that can cause a crash in code that measures text. This occurs in the 64-bit version of Jutoh for Mac only. The crash report may include lines like these:

0 com.apple.CoreFoundation 0x00007fffa0a761d2 __CFTypeCollectionRetain + 114
1 com.apple.CoreFoundation 0x00007fffa0a75f51 __CFBasicHashAddValue + 1681
2 com.apple.CoreFoundation 0x00007fffa0a74127 CFBasicHashAddValue + 311
3 com.apple.CoreFoundation 0x00007fffa0aadf4e CFDictionaryCreate + 286
4 uk.co.anthemion.jutoh 0x00000001063aedf9 wxMacCoreGraphicsContext::GetPartialTextExtents(wxString constwxArrayDoubleconst + 169

To fix this, download the 32-bit version for Mac. Scroll through the problematic chapter, and where you see large black rectangles filling the editor window, or some other strangeness, scroll past it, click in the editor, and hit the Backspace key until it is gone. Once you have eliminated all such strangenesses, you can quit Jutoh and use the 64-bit version.
