KB0301: Can I have different headers and footers on left and right pages?

Ebooks don't support headers and footers, but you can set this up for ODT export, for conversion to PDF if you decide to take the print-on-demand route.

You set headers in page styles, which you can edit via clicking the Edit toolbar button, then clicking on Page Layout/Manage Page Styles. You can also edit page styles from a document's properties (right-click over the project outline and click Properties), or via the Help with Print on Demand command on the Format | Book menu.

When you edit a page style, you'll see tabs for Header and Footer and various options relating to left/right pages. Clear the option Same content on left and right pages, and enter content for Header and Left page header, or Footer and Left page footer.
