KB0375: Why are first page headers or footers not showing in my ODT document?

It's possible that you may encounter a missing header or footer on the first page of a chapter when viewing an OpenDocument file in LibreOffice. This is despite checking 'Same content on first page' for the header or footer.

The problem is that if LibreOffice sees different first-page headers, then it will assume there should be a different first-page footer too, and vice versa. So, if you have enabled both headers and footers in a given page style, the value of 'Same content on first page' must be identical in both Header and Footer tabs, or the LibreOffice behaviour will be surprising.

From Jutoh 2.87, there is a warning to this effect when closing the page style editor dialog, and you will not be able to click OK unless you correct the settings.
