KB0424: Nook doesn't start reading at the right location

A Nook user reports that when he had file names 58 characters long, and changed only the last character for each reimport revision, Nook would open the new version anywhere except at the beginning. When he shortened the file name to 42 characters long and changed just the last part, it always opened at the cover as normal.

There may be a character limit to the internal name used for whatever file Nook has to keep your place in the book.

It's possible that this problem has since been fixed.
